Ill tell ya though. The principal at this school ( Hickman ) is a joke

You know, there used to be a time where I'd be proud to call myself a Carter Hornet. With my thirteen year career as a part of being a Carter student (Including Kindergarten), I can say that I would never let my child go here. I'd never let the child of my worst enemy attend this establishment. Do understand, however, that my experiences can vary from the experiences of your child.. But I would never take the risk of putting a young, bright mind in this place. Let's first discuss the Faculties - Bathrooms, Water fountains, ETC. From my experiences with the Boy's restrooms, the whole thing is a freaking nightmare. The stench of stale urine penetrates the whole hallway beyond the loo, and the floors more often than not have large puddles of God-knows what around the Urinals. With this being said, there is also a high chance of these being closed due to vandalism, or somebody smoking Pot in the stalls. There's usually no paper towels for the sinks, there are no mirrors due to vandalism, the doors on the stalls don't lock, the paper that's used for toilet hygiene is the thinnest and cheapest stuff they can get hold of. The one good thing that is there - If you can consider a basic faculty that should be standard in any school - is that the soap from the dispensers is of decent quality, and leaves the student with a fresh, slightly lemon clean squeak. The water fountains are sort of half-and-half ; The freshmen academy and Gym both have cold water with clean spigots, while the ones found in the main halls outside of the Office usually are unsanitary, and have a weak stream of tepid water. There are also vending machines that hold "Healthy alternatives", such as low-fat crisps and diet drinks. That's fine, and only 'Fine'. The lunchroom is.. well, it is just that. High-school food ; in how the food during first and second "Luncheon" is served at a relatively hot temperature.. But during third and fourth, the food is usually cold and unappetizing. Due to changes in the menu, It had to have been made much more healthy.. But this change was meaningless, due to the abundance of greasy foods from the poor luncheon ladies having to reheat frozen foods, due to the school not supplying actual cooking facilities to those who work there. The chow is usually bland - Consisting of mostly soy-based products or imitation meats with little to no seasonings that contain salt. Let's move on from the faculties to the Staff. Most of those who are in the office are friendly, and will openly greet you by-name if you frequent the area. The teachers are rather nice too, should you warm up to them and show promise of being a good kid in their classroom. But the head principal.. Angelica Messer - despite being highly experienced with kids due to having been an chorus teacher at the Middle school for a number of years - should not have been selected to be the Head of the school. I say this with as much respect as I can put fourth ; This woman has personally helped me through toil and troubles alike, but the gentlemen principal Mister Anderson would have filled that position perfectly, as most-all the students are fammilar with him, and respect him whole-heartedly. The main complaint that can be founded with Misses Messer is her tendency to have teaching skills take over the principals of being a principal - She's been mocked for saying "I'll wait", while addressing a large auditorium of rowdy teens, or, the luncheon room that's had kids screaming over one-another to talk to their pal six-tables across from them. I could go on about the students, I could go on about that one particular teacher, but I finish my review of Carter with this ; Choose Karns.

This school is not as bad as peole make it out to be. So everyone that hates Carter is kinda dump.

Great school

Ok, it is too early to rate the school. But the parking lot! Who is the genius that devised this monstrosity? Picking you kid up is dangerous. No rhyme or reason to the layout. Seriously!
